Hello, and welcome to Chuck Rewind!

This episode is our introduction to the series. We’ll discuss what drew us to the series for the first time, the cast and what impact the show has had on us as individuals and on the TV culture. Next week we will start an episode-by-episode watching of the series and we’d love to have you join us on the long journey! We’ll include details at the end of the show for how you can get in touch with us to send in feedback or to volunteer as a guest!

Segment 1: Let’s start by sharing what drew us to the series for the first time…

Segment 2: Let’s now talk about the show itself. The show aired from 2007-2012 and co-created by Chris Fedak and Josh Schwartz.

Segment 3: Finally, let’s talk about the lasting effect the show has had on us and on the tv culture.

Thank you for joining today for this flagship show of Chuck Rewind! We hope that this has whet your appetite to dive deep into the series once again or for the first time. We want this show to be as interactive as possible. Some of you are watching for the first time, so during our episode discussions we will do our best to discuss each episode on its own without spoilers for the future episodes.

We hope that you will watch along with us. In the US, Chuck is available for streaming on Amazon Prime and on DVD. Purchase it on DVD or Blu-Ray on Amazon to help the network!

For our episode next week, we will review the pilot episode which first aired on September 24th, 2007.

We are proud to be a part of the TV Rewind network of podcasts. For ten years, Stephanie has been hosting TV Rewind about current tv shows and expanded into a network of podcasts about throwback shows in 2016.
