This episode is our introduction to the series. We’ll discuss what drew us to the series for the first time, the cast and what impact the show has had on us as individuals and on the TV culture. Next week we will start an episode-by-episode watching of the series and we’d love to have you join us on the long journey! We’ll include details at the end of the show for how you can get in touch with us to send in feedback or to volunteer as a guest!

Segment 1: Let’s start by sharing what drew us to the series for the first time…

Segment 2: Let’s now talk about the show itself. The show aired from 1998-2002 on the WB Network and launched the careers of many young Hollywood stars. It was created by JJ Abrams and this was his first television show! His next show was Alias, and that is also being reviewed on this network! Of course, today everyone knows who JJ Abrams is. He’s gone on to produce several TV series, including Lost, Fringe and Person of Interest, just to name a few and has produced many films including the Star Trek reboot trilogy and Star Wars: The Force Awakens, just to name a few.

The cast is really fantastic, and 15 years ago when the show premiered many of them were not well known. Several have since gone on to other roles.
Keri Russell as Felicity Porter
Scott Speedman as Ben Covington
Amy Jo Johnson as Julie Emrick
Tangi Miller as Elena Tyler
Scott Foley as Noel Crane
Amanda Foreman as Meghan Rotundi
Greg Grunberg as Sean Blumberg
Ian Gomez as Javier Quintata

Segment 3: Finally, let’s talk about the lasting effect the show has had on us and on the tv culture.

Thank you for joining today for this flagship show of Felicity Rewind! We hope that this has whet your appetite to dive deep into the series once again or for the first time. We want this show to be as interactive as possible. Some of you are watching for the first time, so during our episode discussions we will do our best to discuss each episode on its own without spoilers for the future episodes.

We hope that you will watch along with us. In the US, Felicity is available on DVD, Hulu.com, and the ABC Mobile App (iOs) (Android).

For our episode next week, we will review the pilot episode which first aired on September 29, 1998.

We are proud to be a part of TV Rewind network of podcasts. For six years, Stephanie has been hosting TV Rewind about current tv shows and this Fall, we’ve expanded into a network of podcasts about throwback shows. We currently are hosting shows about Alias, Felicity and Psych with more planned in the future based on success of this first shows.

Please reach out to us if you’d be interested in guest hosting on Felicity Rewind. You can sign up on the document on the Felicity Rewind Facebook group.

There are several ways to leave us feedback.
